Courageous Jack by Cheryl Colwell Book Review

Explore dangerous new worlds and animal habitats with Jack as his imagination takes him on a quest to scary places, each new adventure building his courage. This beautifully illustrated rhyming children’s picture book is a fun storytime read-aloud, perfect for parents and grandparents to teach the value and rewards of courage. Adults as well as children 2 to 8 will delight in the story from the Noble Character-Building Series by the mother and daughter team of Cheryl Colwell and Brittany Harris.

My thoughts:

I love kids’ books that have beautiful and colorful illustrations. This delightful story is your classic rhyme book that keeps the kids coming back again and again to the story. Rhyming makes it easy for them to remember the story.

This is a story about a boy who lost his ball and he goes on an adventure finding it. He needs courage to do the things he is about to embark on. Jack has a creative imagination that will make you giggle.

This was a fun book that has other stories to come. I look forward to reading the other books.

I received this book free from the publisher through the book review program, which requires an honest, though not necessarily positive, review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
