This is a nice KJV Bible. The Bible has beautiful imitation leather cover in a vibrant brown color that would be nice for either a man or woman. No trendy cover for the Bible which, seems to be popular these days. The cover is a good classy- timeless looking leather Bible cover. They also have one that is a hardback, imitation purple cover, and indexes in the imitation covers. There is a handy bookmark ribbon to mark your page in the Bible.
The font size is actually a nice size and larger than your average Bible font size. I wouldn’t consider it a large print Bible. There are 1,650 pages in the Bible. The pages have a gold glided edge which brings a nice touch to the Bible. The pages seem thicker than your normal Bible pages.
The Study portion of the Bible is in a gray box. The headings are in a deep green blue color. The words of Jesus are in red.
The Bible starts out with a Table of Contents with the book number and abbreviations of the books of the Bible.
There is a brief introduction to the Word Study Bible that will explain this particular Bible. Your word study is going to focus on Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, and certain text will be underscored to indicate that a word study is near that passage or to highlight a reference to a word study in the particular passage. It’s impressive with 1,700 Key Words for studying. The Bible is translated from more than 8,600 Hebrew and Aramaic words and more than 5,500 Greek words.
There are four indexes to help you locate word studies within the pages of this Bible. Three kinds of arrangements to assist you:
1. Alphabetical list of word studies in English.
2. List of words by the Biblical order from Genesis to Revelations.
3. & 4. The last 2 indexes are list of word studies in the original language using the Strong’s numbering system. H is for Hebrew and Aramaic words and G for Greek words.
There is a nice Concordance which is in alphabetical order of some of the key passages of English words. This is used to look up topics when studying.
Each book of the Bible has an introduction for all 66 books and what they call a, “Watch Words”.
At the back of the Bible you have 8 full colored maps.
Overall, this is a nice Bible for someone who wants to dig into specific words in the Word of God.
