EarJoy Multi-Purpose Ear Protections
July 23, 2018
My bundle has four different
earplugs from EarJoy. All of them have their own plastic container. I like that they are
all separate and the containers are great for fitting in your pocket or purse
for on the go.
The Silicone moldable earplug: a set of three is for swimming, sleeping or
noise reduction. The moldable earplug case is a little more flimsy than the
other containers. They recommend that you don’t use more than three times. Since
they are disposable I’m not as concerned about keeping them long term with the
case. You basically take your fingers and smooch them to make it more pliable
and soft. You apply them against your ear canal and not inside your ear canal.
I tried them in the shower and
it kept my ears dry. They didn’t fall out nor did I have to keep adjusting
them. I don’t have problems with water getting in my ears so I’m going to pass
them on to my kids who seem to always get water in their ears while swimming.
The one thing I dread about summer is dealing with swimmers ears and the ear
infections.
Three ribbed design orange and
blue:
They are made out of Silicone
and have a three ribbed design. These come in a durable hard plastic
container. The containers seal tight and
I don’t foresee them popping open easily.
To insert this you grab the
stem and gently put the ribbed side inside your ear canal. Don’t force it in
your ear canal. If your ear feels like its pressurized then you have them in
correctly. They shouldn’t fall out by themselves if they do then you aren’t
doing it right. It takes practice if you haven’t used earplugs in this style
before so don’t get frustrated.
The orange earplug is for industrial use and it
has shorter more compact stem or handle that is a bit thicker.
I tested it while outside with
the lawn mower going and with my high powered blender. It toned down the volume
with the noise significantly with the lawn mower and blender. When the lawn
mower was running I could still hear my children if they needed my attention
easily. I like that I still can hear what is going on around me.
The blender is loud and the
earplugs are probably sparing my hearing a lot as I don’t hear anything else.
The blue earplug can also be
used for swimming and noise reduction. I felt the orange one blocked out a bit
more noise. It has a longer stem on it. When I used it in the shower it kept my
ears dry. One of them I didn’t quite get in correctly the first time and I did
get a bit of water. That was the operators fault and not the product itself.
The Gray earplug is smooth with
the base setting somewhat flat up against your ear canal. This is for sleeping
as it doesn’t have s handle sticking out. I put this one in and tried it out to
see how it feels. I don’t want to sleep with it and you will have to take
someone elses word for this one. I couldn’t get a wink with any earplug in my
ears.
Comfort: For earplugs they are
fairly comfortable. I personally don’t consider any earplug comfortable. As far
as earplugs go I would say that this one is much better than others I have
used. If you insert them correctly I think it alleviates the majority of
discomfort. I think all ear plugs hurt a bit after you pull them out and make
your ears have a hollow feeling. I have used other brands other than this one.
My only complaint is the lack
of instructions. It had a small piece of paper that instructed me to go to the
website. The words were so small I needed a magnifying glass to read what was
on the paper. That is one thing that I thought was annoying. Most items have
instructions that come with them. I think that is should include instructions
even if they are basic and then direct you to their website, it must have
larger print on the card.
I’m really
happy with the quality of performance, comfort, and they are multi-purpose
earplugs. They have a 100% Risk Free Satisfaction Guarantee. You can’t go wrong
there.
You can purchuse the earplugs from EarJoy at Amazon.

not required to write a positive review and the thoughts are my own.
