My Thoughts:

This is the 2nd Book in the Series “Seven Brides for Seven Bachelors” by Tricia Goyer. I read the first one and this one in my opinion was a lot better than even the first book. I really enjoyed this novel this is up there as one of my favorite novels.

Lyndia Wise was a very interesting character. Watching her journey of dealing with her grief, guilt, and her relationship with the Lord was precious.

The promise box that her adoptive mother left for her after her death was touching. It would be either letters for her daughter to read in the future, or a journal type note, prayers, and even uplifting scriptures. All the while Lyndia is healing from her past. Her mourning of the event that lead up to her being put up for adoption. She truly starts to understand the past so she can forgive and move on with her future.

Of course she meets an Amish bachelor Gideon Hooley who is on the same road of trying to find answers to something that happened to him as a child on a trip to West Kootenai, Montana.

What both Lyndia and Gideon find is healing, a closer walk with the Lord. They find each other. This is a wonderful story that I have enjoyed reading.

Litfuse Publicity Group has provided me with a complimentary copy of this book. In no way was I asked to give a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
