But as Rhoda uses her gift to unpack an old secret with her Englisch neighbors, it is not her beau but an unlikely ally that cheers her on. With the orchard on shaky ground and Jacob's plans in question, Rhoda is determined to see things through to harvest. But can she trust her insight to direct her path in matters of the heart?
My Thoughts:
This book is the third book
in the Amish Vine and Orchard Series. There will also be an upcoming fourth book
in this series. The characters continue to become more complex during each book.
I would highly recommend reading the other books in this series to fully
appreciate all the books.
I am still uncertain about
how I feel about Rhonda's "intuition". I have to say that this has
been my favorite book in the series. Cindy Woodsmall sure does know how to let
the personalities of the characters come out. Each character has so many layers
and the author pulls off complexity of each personality without weighting down
the story. Maybe that is what makes this
series so fascinating. There are so many twists and turns in this series that
makes this a page turner.
I found the ending very abrupt. I would of
loved to have had something more to gnaw on while waiting for the last book.
