Levi Grant is looking to start over in Spencer, Texas when the town needs a blacksmith. A trade that he learned well from his father since he was a small child. No one knows his past in Spencer besides the Pastor and his wife. Levi hopes to show himself a man of integrity, and honor before his past is found out in the small town.

Eden Spencer a wealthy young lady who has sworn off men and to devout her time to the towns lending library. When a handsome mountain-sized stranger walks through her door and asks to borrow a book, she finds herself attracted to this gentle giant. His halting speech and hesitant manner leave her doubting his intelligence. Eden finds her heart stirring and she finds herself falling in love.

Levi’s commitment to the Lord has Eden to believe she’s finally found a man of honor and integrity, a man worthy of her love. But when the truth about his violent past comes to light, can he find a way to win back Eden’s admiration.

This story and the character won my heart from the first page. Not only did I enjoy Levi and Eden but the other characters are unforgettable. The character’s all seem so genuine. Karen Witemeyer writes a beautiful historical fiction. The author tells the story of redemption and forgiveness in a powerful way. I loved To Win Her Heart and look forward to reading Karen Witemeyer other books. This has been one of my favorite books. I would truly love to see a sequel with Levi, Eden, Ornery, Chloe, and Duncan.
