The Princess Bible by Andy Holmes
September 11, 2010
What little girl doesn’t love princess, sparkles, beautiful pictures and lots of pink. My little girl was taken with it immediately. It looks like it will be well loved by her for awhile. She has already memorized a part in it.
This bible is not what I would consider a typical bible. It is a story Bible book about how God has used and blessed many women throughout the bible. My Princess Bible has 19 illustrated stories of women in the Bible in a rhyming story and afterwards a short take on the story that any little girl can understand. Each story teaches a Biblical principal that little girls can relate to at their level. Every story ends with a two line verse that you can insert your little princes name into to make it more of a personal book for her. It will remind her of valuable character traits of a princess; the little princesses are even encouraged to recite the learning of the biblical princess using her own name.
The last story is taken from my favorite verse, Psalms 139 and lets your little princess feel like a Godly Princess, a daughter of the King! The last story (Psalms 139) makes a total of 20 encouraging stories for your little princess to enjoy.
This would make a great gift for any little girl. They will love all the stories and pictures in this board book. This would be a great book for girls 3-8.
Tyndale House Publishers has provided me with a complimentary copy of this book. In no way was I asked to give a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
