Lights, Camera, Action! ~ July Blogging Challenge Day 15
July 15, 2015
Lights, Camera, Action! is the July Blogging Challenge for today.
I am playing around with my camera a lot lately. Taking pictures when things are moving has been a learning curve for me with some success and some not so good of results.
Last week at the county fair we went to go see Monster Trucks at a very affordable price. My son was excited and couldn't wait for the day of the show. He actually took a lot of pictures of the Monster Trucks.
Yes, he is teasing her about how he was right about something in the show.
Little Man had a chance to ride in a Monster Truck. It was the Mississippi Nightmare. It was an adventure that he will never forget.
I wasn't so sure about sending my son off on a big truck in the dark without me.
Yep, that's a lot of mud out in the field. We had a down pour earlier in the day.
He was covered in mud and this is just his face! Boys and dirt are always a good combination.
He was very willing to take a shower without any arguing him to do so. He had to do a lot of scrubbing to get clean.
This is the truck that he rode on. He didn't know that he was going to get to ride it the next day.

Little Man Wins 2nd Place in a Photo contest
February 09, 2015
Little Man entered The Happy Birthday Kansas Photo contest. He came in 2nd place for his level.
He was invited to go down to the state capital and met the governor on Kansas Day which is January 29th. He was awarded a Kindle also. Which you could image made him pretty excited.
They do say his name on the video but the last name was completely butcher and nowhere near what it really is. We have a very difficult and long last name!
I got a kick out of the governor fixing Little Man's tie. I wasn't able to go as Bug came down with the flu. So grandpa took him to Topeka for his big day.

Insects seem to be a common theme in our household. Not a bad looking picture that he took. He doesn't even like insects! I think he took it for his sister's sake. With 500 entries in the contest and two winners were chosen from grades 1st through 12th.
Congratulations Little Man we are real proud of you!
