I am Still Here
April 06, 2011
Every time I sit down to write a post I just can't put it together! You ever feel like that? I have ideas that I want to share, then my mind goes blank with how to start it and my post just doesn't sound too exciting. I am sure it will come back at some point. :0) Maybe I can do just a catch up post.
We have been getting ready for Pesach (Passover). I have been planning activities for school all next week. The kids are already excited. We have a large Seder that we do with our congregation and that is opened up to the public. It is exciting to see how many people are interest in the Feast of the Lord.
We have been busy with swimming lessons with the kids. This will be our last week. Bug has made such big steps this year. I am so proud of her. The swim instructor is more grateful. Unlike last year her ears drums are intact and her neck is not held in a death grip. It only lasted 5 minutes this year. Bug remembered that she can touch the bottom of the pool with her feet to stand up. Now, if she ever swims I would be surprised. I know I should have more faith in that area but, after 3 years of lessons she starts at the beginning every time. I just want her comfortable in the water and to be able to keep herself a float if she needs to. I am not sure she has connected that if she kicks and uses her arms she can keep herself above the water.
Little Man is a little hyper lately. Boys!!!! He was showing off at the pool and the instructor got right on to him. He felt horrible. This is not his normal self. He has been wanting to show off a lot lately. Peer pressure? Does a five year old have peer pressure? It's like he has micro burst of energy and then he is normal. I know he is a boy and I remember them with some of my foster boys. I guess he is a late bloomer in that area. He is always been my steady kid that is pretty predictable unlike Bug who makes life interesting.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
