My Thoughts:

I don’t usually write reviews until I’m done with a book completely. I have read the majority of it to feel good about handing it over to my 13 year old son to read. The book will appeal to young readers in late elementary and up. 

This is book seven in this series. However I didn’t have any problems as this is a standalone book in the series.

An easy read to follow the plot. Theo is an impressive kid that would be great to have more young teens like him in today’s world. I like that the story is an eye opener to some kids who may not realize that who you hang around with can have consciences. If you’re with someone who shoplifts or in this case robbery there are consciences even if you didn’t know that the individual did something. 

The book is clean as it doesn’t have any bad language, s*x, or violence. That is a winner in my book. The characters are interesting and have a lot of depth to them. You will get sucked into this story easily.

Overall this is a great book for tweens and teens. I look forward to finishing up the last few chapters.
