My Thoughts:

There are so many Bibles to choose from that it can be hard to choose what kind of Bible style fits your needs. I’m a bit partial to study Bibles myself and references that point me to other scriptures within the Bible.

KJV, The King James Study Bible, Leathersoft, Brown, Red Letter, Full-Color Edition What a beautiful Bible filled with so many neat features. It’s also a large print 10-point type Bible that I can read without my reading glasses. The Bible lays completely FLAT! I love that feature.

The Bibles is thumbed indexed too. I like this feature in a new Bible until I can break it in. Gold gilding is on the edges to add to the eloquent look of the Bible.

The pages are thicker and don’t have much ghosting either unlike many paper thin pages in the majority of Bibles. I haven’t highlighted in it yet and I’m sure I will get some bleed through but not a lot.

The cover is eloquent and I love the two-toned color of this Leathersoft cover. The Bible has full color illustrations, maps, paintings, and many interesting things to see and learn about throughout. I like the maps within the context of the Bible readings. It has your standard Bible maps in the back of the Bible too. The Bible is also a red-letter of the words of Jesus

Your scripture references are in the center of the two-column page spread. Throughout the Bible you have over 100 archeological sites articles with full colored photographs. Other features are Doctrinal Footnotes, Personality Profiles, Special Interest Articles, and other features. Another impressive feature is the Concordance which gives you resources for the Strong’s references to look up yourself.

I may not agree with all the notes and commentary and that is all right. The majority of it I do. This Bible is still a gem and has a lot of features that make this a nice study Bible.
