Blind Trust by Natalie Walters Book Review
Lyla Fox knows she has a reputation at the SNAP Agency for impulsivity, but when she receives a threatening letter from a man she helped put in prison, she can't stop herself from going all in to find out why he's coming after her. Unfortunately, she's going to need the help of the one person who questions her reckless choices more than anyone else.
Natalie Walters closes out her SNAP Agency series with a bang with this nail-biting story of a deadly government conspiracy, an unlikely couple, and an ending that will leave you breathless.
My Thoughts:
This is the last book in “The Snap Agency” series. I have enjoyed this series and the characters immensely. All the characters have been some of my favorites in the many books I read. They are like a family to one another. They are humorous and down to earth in a dangerous job. They always have each other’s backs.
The action starts immediately in this book. The fast pace and suspense continue throughout the story. A plot twist that will keep you having a hard time putting the book down.
Lyla Fox is the spitfire of the group. She tends to teeter on being dangerous in her task. She is reckless and a bit impulsive. She has an uncanny intuition on situations that proves to be right and essential to the team. She receives a threatening letter from an individual she put in prison. Lyla wants to dig into his motives for sending the letter.
Nicolas Garcia is enthralled with Lyla but it doesn’t affect his job as a bomb and weapons specialist. He agrees to help Lyla. Garcia is more serious and thinks things out. He has his hands full protecting Lyla’s life. She tends to cross the line when you shouldn’t and puts her life in danger.
What a great conclusion to this series! I was looking forward to Lyla and Garcia's story. Everyone else saw the sparks between them, except for Lyla and Garcia. This was fast-paced with a ton of suspense and mystery. A plot twist or two that I never saw coming.
Natalie Walters is an amazing author and I look forward to reading more books from her in the future.
