Blogging through the Alphabet – Letter E
February 14, 2017
We are at the letter E already.
I have had this scripture verse on my mind the last week.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him, bless His name!
Psalm 100:4
The word Enter is a verb
and requires action. That means that I
need to take action to praise God in all situations. It’s easy to enter in
praise and worship when things are good. What about when you don’t feel like
praising Him.
The letter E is to remind myself
to enter into praise and worship with God through all things. It’s so easy not
to be thankful. I want to be thankful for all things. It requires action on my
part.
Let us come before Him with joyful songs and pray, “Oh, give
thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever”
Psalm 136:1
