Life Size Tabernacle in the Wilderness
August 14, 2010
Our congregation went to see a life size replica of the Tabernacle in the Wildness that God told Moses to build. It was amazing seeing it laid out in the size the Israelite's would of seen them.
"Let them make Me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it."
Exodus 25:8-9
The Tabernacle had curtain wall around it with pillars holding up the wall. The first item you would see when you walk into the sanctuary would be: The Brazen Altar. Exodus 27:1-8
The Laver in Exodus 30:18
The Ark.
The Golden Altar of Incense Exodus 30:1-10
The Table, Shewbread, Lampstand and Oil Exodus 40:22-27
If you would like to learn more about how the Tabernacle and see Yeshua (Jesus) in the Tabernacle you can read up on it in these book suggestion; Seeing Christ in the Tabernacle by Ervin N. Hershberger, The Temple by Alfred Edersheim.
