Happy Passover
March 25, 2013
Happy Pesach. Which Pesach means Passover in Hebrew. May the Lord bless you during this season of Pesach.
We celebrated this festival of freedom starting with a Seder that our Messianic Synagogue host for the community. We average around 200+ people from different denomination in the community. It is a lot of fun and a great teaching tool.
This last week we worked on cleaning the home of all chametz (yeast, leaven). The kids like the week before Passover as they get to eat lots of things more abundantly as they eat the foods that contain chametz in eat. I put all the gold fish, pretzels, crackers, cereals, and other snack foods on the table for them to eat up.
The most important lesson for the kids and a reminder to me is to look at our lives and evaluate if we have sin growing in our hearts. This is a reminder that we need to get things right with our Savior and purge out that sin that has been growing in our heart.
Many blessings to you and your family during this Passover season.
