Mosey's Field Barbara Lockhart, Illustrated by Heather Crow Book Review
March 18, 2013
Barbara Lockhart, a retired kindergarten teacher, lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland where she's been watching fields for years. Heather Crow is an award-winning artist and art teacher. She lives in Easton, Maryland.
My thoughts:
What an adorable fun book. My kids loved
this book and I can attest that it has been read several times already in our
home. Living in a farming community makes it that much more appealing. The
pictures are perfect for the age group of the readers. I love that the pictures look like water colors. The reading is easy
enough for a child to read and comprehend the story.
Mosey just captures your heart from the beginning.
You can help but to cheer him on to find his napping place. His adventure is
enduring as the seasons change. Mosey is persistent at finding his special spot
in the middle of the corn field.
This e-book
has been provided to me my by Netgalley free of charge and in no way was I
asked to give a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
