Boys and

principle that "God created man in his own image . . . male and

The authors do
not underestimate the power of the Holy Spirit in the heart and mind of a
child. This book intentionally uses the rich language of faith, and then builds
meaning around the words and concepts as the stories proceed, providing
children the words of life.
About the Author
SUSAN HUNT is the wife of retired PCA pastor Gene Hunt, mother of 3, and grandmother of 12. Susan is the former Director of Women's Ministry for the Presbyterian Church in America and is author of several books for women and children. She teaches a weekly Bible study for women in her church and has spoken for women's conferences throughout the country and in several other countries.RICHIE HUNT is the Director of Children and Youth Ministries at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Georgia. He co-authored Big Truths for Little Kids, My ABC BIble Verses, and My ABC Bible Verses from Psalms. Richie is married and the father of three children.
My Thoughts:
What a
charming book to teach your children God’s word concerning the scripture
passage, "God
created man in his own image . . . male and female he created them"
My family enjoyed this delightful book.
Every chapter
ends with a “Let’s Talk” which includes Discuss, Memorize, and Pray. This is a
wonderful time to talk to your children about the message that is presented in
each chapter. I like this in children’s books. The book is filled with many
scripture references to back up the situation.
I had a Kindle
version of this book. I think I would have preferred this book in a printed
book. I am still trying to adjust to eBooks. I love it that my daughter who
struggles with reading can read it herself by following along while the book
reads to her.
This is a
wonderful book that will be read over and over.
