99 Stories From the Bible by Juilet David Book Review
January 06, 2014
Following the narrative of the Bible, this collection of 99 stories
starts with At the Beginning, and covers a wide variety of key events,
including Samuel Listens, Esther, A Blind Man Sees, and Jesus Walks on
the Lake, through to One Day Jesus Will Return. Each story is told over a
double page spread with vibrant illustrations and some full page art.
My Thoughts:
Most of the stories covers a two page spread in this hardback book. The illustrations are lively and colorful. I would say that this is for ages 3-7. It's very eye catching for kids and the characters in the book look so friendly.
This could be a bedtime Bible story or even an early reader for kids. The font is a good size for young readers.
It includes stories from both the Old and New Testament. The stories are condensed down for young children but, I didn't see anything that took away from the main point of the Bible stories.
This is a lovely Bible Story book for children. It would make a wonderful gift for a child. My kids enjoyed me reading to them and also reading themselves. I would recommend 99 Stories from the Bible.
