It's hard to believe that it's been a year since we went to Israel. This time last year May 25, 2013 we were on our way to the Promised Land. My heart yearns to return to the land of Israel.

Here are some pictures of the gardens at the Mount of the Beatitudes. Well, where they think the Mount of the Beatitudes is located or maybe where they just placed it. As we know it's somewhere in the general area. Who knows but, it was fun strolling in the gardens.

 My beloved listening the Matthew 5:1-12 being read while we sat in the gardens,

How beautiful it was standing there and looking out into the Sea of Galilee. It was breath taking.

 The gardens were lovely and you could smell the fragrance of all the flowers in the air.

 I don't think they enjoyed such a lovely garden while listening to Yeshua speak. They had the best part of being in the presence of our Savior.

 The garden was full of fountains and a large variety of flowers.

 On the main path was several stones with each verse from the Sermon on the Mount.

 Can you tell that I really enjoyed looking out at the Sea of Galilee. It was gorgeous.

Matthew 5: 1-12

 And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. ² Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:

³ “Blessed are the poor in spirit,
    For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
⁴ Blessed are those who mourn,
    For they shall be comforted.
⁵ Blessed are the meek,
    For they shall inherit the earth.
⁶ Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    For they shall be filled.
⁷ Blessed are the merciful,
    For they shall obtain mercy.
⁸ Blessed are the pure in heart,
    For they shall see God.
⁹ Blessed are the peacemakers,
    For they shall be called sons of God.
¹⁰ Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
    For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

¹¹ “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. ¹² Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
