Hands on for the Holidays-Hanukkah Craft

Hanukkah is coming up and this year Hanukkah starts on Sunday, December 24th through January 1st. Every year we take time to remember this time with lots of fried foods, crafts, and playing dreidel!

Here is an easy crafts that you can do for Hanukkah.

For this project you will need:

*Masking tape. I prefer the painters tape
*Heavy cardstock
*Paint and supplies
*Scissors
*Your imagination

For Hanukkah we are going to make a Hanukkah Menorah, Star of David, and a Dreidel. You can apply this to any of the upcoming holidays.

Apply your tape to the paper to make your design.
Now for the fun part-paint. Don't worry if you get paint on the tape as you are going to pull it the tape off when you are done. The tape will pull of easily after you are done painting. The longer you leave the tape on the paper the more it will stick. I would recommend removing the tape as soon as you are done painting.
My daughter is making a dreidel for her project.

The tape is still on the paper here.
After you remove the tape you have a nice shape of the dreidel and the letter Hey (×”).
Little Man is making a Star of David.

 The end results.
 The Hanukkah Menorah.
This is an easy craft for all ages. We decided that we would like to use this technique to make Hanukkah cards this year.
