My
Thoughts:
As soon as I seen this book title I knew it was something
my son would enjoy. He loves to tell jokes and loves games.
This is a paperback book with 176 pages. There is a variety
of jokes, trivia, unscramble the words, and brain teasers that will keep your
kid entertained for awhile.
The book has many activities:
*He Stands at the Door an Knocks, Knocks- which is your
basic knock-knock jokes.
*Can’t Sing If you don’t Know the Words-finding the words
from the missing Psalms to complete a phrase.
*Are You Smarter Than King Solomon? This is Bible Trivia
with multi-questions to choose from
*Who Art Thou? This is a game done with a
friend that is a guessing game. No, peeking ahead.
*Words in a Word from the Word-How many words
can you make from certain words.
*Bible Banter-silly things like, “Why does God
love mangos and math?
“Because, He’s always telling us to be fruitful
and multiply”.
*Matches Made in Heaven-Match the man with his
wife, and other matches to figure out.
*Did You Know? Some interesting Bible facts to
read and to learn about.
*The Shepherd is at a Loss of Words-Fill in the
blanks from Psalms 23 with the correct words.
*Seek and You Will Find-Different activities
that you may have to search for in the Bible to complete the activities.
*Those Animals Are So Smart-Wise saying from
Proverbs that you fill in the blank that pertain to animals or insects.
*That’s From the Bible? Phrases that we use
today that originated from the Bible times.
*God Did That? Facts from Job 38-41.
*What Time is It? Match the right time with the
right place.
Needless, to say I could go on with several
other activities within the pages of this fun book. The last part of the book
has a section:” Are You on the Road to Heaven”? That has several scriptures on
salvation and what must be done to have a relationship with Jesus.
This would make a wonderful gift for a kid who
can read and write. I know my son has enjoyed it a lot.
