My Thoughts:

This is a new book in the Living Expression Collection from Tyndale House.

This coloring prayer journal is 110 pages 8”x6”. It’s a nice size to throw in your purse or backpack to carry with you.  

It’s a hardback book with a thick cardboard cover. This is a nice feature when coloring or working on the journal when you don’t have a table surface to use. The book lays out flat when it is opened. You have to press it down slightly but, it stays put.

The pages are thick and can be used with several different medians. So far I haven’t had any bleed through.

This is perfect for someone who likes to journal God’s words. Or maybe you just enjoying coloring beautiful illustrations that are filled with scripture.

The book has prayers and several scripture verses throughout the pages. It’s arranged in a 2-page layout.  Some of the pages are colored, some have photographs, and others are black and white. The illustrations are quite lovely. Some of the illustrations are busy and others are simple. There is a lot of space to doodle and to write in. The pages have picture frame, borders, lines that you can write in.

Each page focuses on a different scripture or prayer theme. There is something for everyone’s taste. I like the trees and animals with the pages of Tranquility.

This would make a lovely gift for someone who likes to journal or even just color.
