Get to Know King David by Nancy I. Sanders Book Review
August 09, 2014
David led an adventurous life-from
shepherd to warrior to king of Israel. But he was also a man of God. Read about
this hero from the Bible and his place in history.
Get to Know King David is a very colorful
biography for kids. This book has 12 chapters followed by 5 other sections of
resources. This a bible study tool for kids to learn about the life of King
David with his biography and scripture references. Each chapter and paragraph
are short and great for young readers.

My Thoughts:
I like that this is simple for young
readers yet filled with good information that is easy to understand. I love
history and I love how this is presented in this book.
This would be great for any Christian school
resource. I am planning on using this in my homeschool this year. I look
forward to sharing it with my children.
There are other books in this series
also. I was very pleased with this book and would highly recommend this book.
