My thoughts:
Anyone who reads my blog knows that I
love Historical Fiction! This is the first book that I have read by Cara
Putman. I was very pleased with this book. I had a hard time putting this book
down.
I had no idea about the Monuments Men and
their quest to save priceless art from the Nazi’s during War World II. I know
that there are some organizations that now recover stolen art during that era.
Who knew that this subject could make such a fascinating fictional book? I had to look up the Monuments Men online
myself to see if they existed!
The characters have so much depth in them.
The author did an amazing job developing the characters throughout this story. Cara
Putman also made the story feel so realistic. The emotions are raw at times and
the descriptions of the settings almost make you feel like you are there. I
felt like I stepped back into history.
I highly recommend this story the author
did a lot of research and it truly is a unique story that is unforgettable.
Litfuse Publicity Group has provided me with a
complimentary copy of this book. In no way was I asked to give a positive
review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Thanks for reading Shadowed by Grace. The history of the Monuments Men fascinates me. To think they weren't traditional soldiers but filled such an important role in WWII!
