My Thoughts:
Having read the first book in the series
I was excited to get started reading “The Calling”. I have to say that it was
hard to get into this story. It just seemed to drag and take so long to get to
the point. Not that I didn’t enjoy the book it just took much longer for me to
read it. Usually I can turn out a book in a day or two.
I enjoy all the characters in the book.
Bethany is one to steal your hear with her spunky free spirit with a bit of an
edge to it. She is a fun character that you just have to love and laugh at her demeanor.
Jimmy is the guy that when I first met his
character I wanted to read over quickly. He was just plain annoying. He matured
within the pages of the books his character has shown up in. Now I can say that
I enjoy it when he appears.
I enjoy all the other characters and I
look forward to the next book in this series.
Litfuse Publicity Group
has provided me with a complimentary copy of this book. In no way was I asked
to give a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
