Prone To Wander Phone Case Review & Giveaway
April 02, 2018
Recently, I received 3 beautiful phone cases for my iPhone 6
Plus from Prone To Wander. I received a wood case, clear case, and a shimmer
case to review.
Prone To Wander’s purpose was to put a reminder that when we
lose sight of the reality of our Savior daily with being busy, feeling defeated,
and even lose sight and are “Prone To Wander” as we journey each day in this
world. Sometimes it’s the little things that remind us of our Savior and
sometimes we need some encouragement with God’s word. They take the
inspirations from this scripture verse: All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of
us all. Isaiah 53:6.
Prone To Wander Phone Case cases are available for most
iPhones and Samsung phones. They have a plethora of styles available. You can
even have a custom made case. I had a hard time choosing which ones I wanted. I
may have to have a phone case as accessory wardrobe now! Seriously these are
stunning!
The wood case is made out of cherry wood. The back ground is
natural with the verse, “Be still and know that I am God.” Psalms 46:10
engraved into the wood. The top corners look like hand painted flowers in
lovely pastel colors. This is a special edition wood case.
The wood is 1/16” thick and it’s attached securely to a rubber
back and sides that fit snuggly around your phone. All the edges are smooth and
aren’t going to snag on anything. The wood is covered with some kind of
protective sealant in a satin finish. It’s easy to put on and remove the case.
Yet, at the same time I don’t have to worry about my phone coming out of the
case. There isn’t a front cover on the phone as it’s opened. I think this is my
favorite case of the three. I like the look and feel of wood.
The clear case and the shimmering case are extremely flexible.
Just like the wood case they slip on and off easily. You don’t have to worry
about it accidently coming off as it takes your fingers to pull it off the
phone. The cases are made of TPU which is thermoplastic polyurethane. The TPU
makes your phone feel light. The ink is somehow processed to not bleed and the
color won’t fade away. You can’t peel off the design on the case. The phone
case has the front of your phone exposed. I wouldn’t consider these a heavy
duty case. If I was going hiking or somewhere that I might need more protection
I would put my old heavy duty case on. Which these cases are easy to slip off
and on compared to my bulky multi layered phone case.
The clear case has the scripture verse, “Trust in the Lord
with all your heart.” Proverbs 3:5. The back ground it clear and looks stunning
against my gold phone. The lettering is white with a beautiful font. The
flowers are on two corners and have pastel flowers with blue and red tones of
leaves and feathers around the flowers. They call it the “Tribal Boheme design”
Very classy looking.
The shimmering case is for someone who loves the bling. The color
is Rose Gold. It also comes in other shimmering colors. It has a large “Beauty
for ashes” which the background of the lettering is clear and will pick up the
coloring of your phone. Underneath the words is a box that just says Isaiah
61:3.
If you do purchase a clear case make sure if you have a
black phone that you don’t get one with the writing color black or it won’t
show up clearly. My son actually noticed this as he looked at the cases online
to see if he could find one for his phone. Something to remember when purchasing
your case for your phone.
All the opening on my phone is a perfect fit! I have clear
access to plug in my phone to the charger, headphones, and the speaker isn’t
covered. I can easily mute my ringer with the opening. The camera also has a
nice un-obstructive view to take all those pictures. They say that the openings
are “cut precisely to allow full access to all the functions on your phone.” I
have had phone cases that are horrible when I’ve not bought name brand cases.
Impressive, that the openings on the phone case are top notch-an important
feature in a phone case.
I love that the phone cases are a conversation starter. What
a unique way to share God’s word in a world where so many are closing their ears
to HIS WORD.
Prone To Wander also makes some amazing other products for
the home from canvas print banners, pillow covers, art prints, little-big-boards,
and ornaments. One of my favorites-is their gold foil and digital art prints
which is on my wish list. These are great gifts for all occasions. The perfect gift for someone who is hard to shop for.
I love these phone cases! I would 100% recommend them. I
pray that Prone To Wander is blessed in their business.
