Library and Educational Services LLC Review

I’m excited share this review with you today. If you’re like me in your homeschool having a good home library is essential. Library and Educational Services LLC has been a huge part of building my library with quality wholesale books throughout the years.

I received Who Was Princess Diana, Lifehouse Theater Pride and Prejudice CD, and several books from the Reinforced Hardcover Library Binding Nonfiction books. My daughter picked out Luna Moths: Masters of Change - Insect World, Horses! - Set of 4. My son gravitated to History's Greatest Warriors - Set of 5. I also ordered a few other books outside of the review to add to my library.

Library and Educational Services LLC has been in business for 40 years. The company is small family run businesses that is diligent to make sure the product they provide doesn’t go against Biblical standards or values. They will ship both in the US and worldwide.

To view the sight you do have to sign up for an account. You won’t regret it as they have some amazing prices and they have a huge selection of books, CDs, Bibles, and much more for all ages.

Who Was Princess Diana

With all the hype of the Royal Wedding my 16 year old daughter has been intrigued with all things pertaining to it. She was curious to know more about Princess Diana. She was able to read the story with some help from me. I love having my special needs daughter read as she struggles in this area.

My daughter loved all the information and the illustrations in the book

The story starts out telling you about her childhood and family. The story continues on with how she starting dating Prince Charles, the wedding, up to her tragic death. I love that it talks about her works that made her the “Peoples Princess.” Throughout the book you have black and white photos that look like drawings of photos many have seen throughout the years.

I love that when it brings up a topic or person that you may not familiar with it has the information. This book has information about Althorp House, Polo, The Royal Residence, The Order of Succession, AIDS, Mother Theresa, Elton John, and other information in the appropriate places as needed.

The Timeline is a wonderful feature in the books
The back of each book has a timeline of her life and a timeline of the world in the same period of Princes Diana’s life.

With the intended age range grades 2 -6 and 108 pages it provides enough information about Princess Diana and her life.

I also bought What Was the Titanic?

My daughter’s said, “I wonder what she could have done if she would have lived longer?” “It’s such a sad ending to a story but, I liked the book and it helped me understand who Princes Diana was.”

Lifehouse Theater Pride and Prejudice CD

My daughter and I listened to this in the car. At first she told me that she isn’t interested in this story. I played it in the car and she became intrigued with story of the Bennett family. Which I knew she would as I listened to it first to see if I could recall the story of Pride and Prejudices that I read ions ago. We have listened to the story a couple of times while doing errands.

I like it when CDs show the tracks on the screen in my car that way when it gets taken out we can quickly go back to our place.

The story has different people for the many different characters with sound effects throughout. The approximate time is 73 minutes abridged story of Pride and Prejudice from author Jane Austen.

My daughter said, “I like Elizabeth because she is strong and gentle.” “She isn’t afraid to speak her mind but knows when to keep quite.” “The title explains the characters well.”

Reinforced Hardcover Library Binding Nonfiction books

What I love about the Reinforced Hardcover Library Binding Nonfiction books is the quality of them. The binding is superb, with quality paper, and the content is top notch with fantastic photos and illustrations throughout. All the books I have gotten throughout the years have held up amazingly. I love the affordability of buying brand new quality books library bound books!

Library Bound Books are sturdy

Here are just a few of the books that I mentioned below that are in the Reinforced Hardcover Library Binding Nonfiction books below.

Luna Moths: Masters of Change - Insect World

My entomologist was thrilled to get this book. She loves moths and especially silk moths. The beautiful Luna Moth is one of her favorites. Even through my daughter could tell you all of the information about moths and Luna Moths in this book. She will gladly read it over and over on how to tell the differences of a moth and butterfly. She never gets tired of the explanations of looking at the antennas, the bodies, and even the wings when they are resting.

I love seeing my daughter read

The book is filled with facts and has additional information in “Moth Facts” on every page. The photographs are close-up and stunning. Extra information is in the back that goes over some of the scientific information, other insect’s life cycles, glossary, and additional information to find out about Luna Moths from recommended books and websites.
The photos are stunning in the book

The book is 48 pages and intended for grades 2-8. This would make a great research book on learning about Luna Moths.

My daughter said, “I love this book and the information is spot on.” The pictures are my favorite as they are close up and really show how pretty the Luna Moth is.”

Horses! - Set of 4

This set has four books on horses; Horse Care, Horse Rescue, Horse Shows, and Therapy Horses.

Each book is filled with facts and information about its specific title

My daughter’s favorite is the Therapy Horses due to her experience of riding a therapy horse for the last several years. The book goes in detailing explaining what hippotherapy is and how horses help those with varies special needs. I love the detail of what goes into preparing a horse to become a therapy horse. The book is filled with lots of information.

All the books have full colored photos, glossaries, other resources, and details on each book topic about horses.

My daughter said, “I love horses and have enjoyed my mom reading all 4 books to me.” I like looking at the pictures too.”

Ages 10 thru 14 is the intended age for the Horses!-Set of 4.

History's Greatest Warriors - Set of 5

My 13 year old son is into learning about all the wars and warriors lately. He especially loves your ancient warriors. He choose this set that includes 5 books; Gladiators: Battling in the Arena, Knights: Warriors of the Middle Ages, Ninjas: Masters of Stealth and Secrecy, Samurai: Warlords of Japan, and Vikings: Raiders and Explorers.

My son enjoyed his selections of books

My son’s favorite is Knights: Warriors of the Middle Ages. He likes that it goes into lots of details explaining what it takes to be a knight from training as a child and an adult. It explains the feudal society, battles, and weapons.

All five books have illustrations, photos, and do a fantastic job explaining all the different warriors and the lives they lived during their era.

The recommended age is grades 4-8. Each book is 48 pages.

We also bought ourselves Warriors of History - Set of 5 Edge Books.

My son said, “I really enjoyed the details of each book. I liked the variety of warriors and time periods it covered. I like history and it really had a lot of information about each warrior and what life was like for them.”

How Did I use Library and Educational Services LLC in my homeschool?

Library and Educational Services LLC was very generous with the amount of books we could choose from. The hardest part was selecting what we wanted to order.
This is just a portion of the side bar

Ordering is very easy once you have established an account. On the left side of the screen the books are broken down in categories. The Reinforced Hardcover Library Binding Nonfiction books you can look up by grade level once you click on it. They always have great prices on closeouts. I picked up a few for .22 cents for gifts. They even have great homeschool resources like Jensen's Grammar and Drive Thru History DVDs!

My son read all of his books within two weeks. My daughter took longer due to her being a struggling reader and she had to wait for me to read the books to her.
