My Thoughts:

When I first opened the box everything was wrapped in tissue paper with a sticker that says “you are loved” when you open it up there is a white cloth drawstring dustbag with the message, “the best is yet to come.” I like that happy thought and it is the theme of the planner. I love that personal touch when you receive a product.

There is a variety of designs and kits to choose from. There is black, blush, and marble design. You can also decide what binding you prefer from coil or standard bookbinding.

Another feature that I love is the option to choose the layout of the planner page of either a horizontal or vertical. I confess that I choose my planner on the layout! I like my pages horizontal and love that I had the option to choose.

I choose the 2022 Blush Leather Coil Dream Vegan Planner. The color is gorgeous with the gold embossed letters which also say, “the best is yet to come” in a beautiful font. The coil is a copper color which makes this planner look classy. The tabs are gold with blush text.

This is an 8x9.5 planner with pockets on the inside of the front and back cover. They are deep pockets that are nice to hold notes and to hold your stickers which come with the kit. Mine didn’t come with them so I can’t give you information about the stickers.

The paper is top-notch quality cardstock paper (140GSM/110lbs) with no bleed thru, which means you can use pens, markers, and all kinds of medians in your planner.

A few features are the QR Codes that link you to the tutorial pages to assist you with setting up your planner and for scripture references. You will find a few of these in the first tab section.

Your first tab is labeled “canvas” which includes a bucket list, Who Do I Want to Become, Why Did I Give Myself That Rating?, Let’s Get Encouraged!, Declare, Refocus, Generosity Planning, Heart Check, There is No Fear in Love, and a Year at Glance Calendar. This is a heartfelt section to do some self-reflection. You’ll find various places throughout the planner to revisit those areas. A few pages for praise reports, notes, and a lot of other goodies throughout.

Each month has a two-page monthly layout. There is a decent amount to write in the days. You have a page for each week with a to-do list. There are scripture references throughout the planner. The planner ends with a 2023 Year at Glance Calendar and a lot of blank pages at the back!

In addition to my planner, I received a snap-in bookmarker, gold pen, a black-covered sewn journal. Everything is of exceptional quality.

My favorite feature is the option to customize the layout of a horizontal or vertical feature. I like that the pages are a modern clean design. I personally don’t like planners that are busy looking. It’s a minimalize look with a lot of class. I love the layout of the to-do list and the weekly and monthly calendars. I have to be honest that I’m not one to do a lot of self-reflection on paper. I haven’t decided if I will do all of it yet. My favorite pages are the generosity planning, heart check, and prayer pages. Writing those down is a reminder of a commitment to follow through on the task. Those pages I already know I will be using.

There is a lot to like with the Horacio Printing Christian Dream Planner. This would be a wonderful gift for a college student, homeschool mom, any busy mom, or anyone special in your life.
