Bedtime with Mommy by Nancy I. Sanders Book Review and a Giveaway
All around the world, it’s bedtime, and Mommies are tucking little ones
into bed.
From the elephants on the grasslands to the camels in the desert to the
polar bears in the Arctic, it’s time for snuggles, prayers, and bedtime kisses.
This adorable boardbook features a Mommy and baby animal in 8 different
habitats getting ready for bed. And the final spread is when Mommy tucks a
child into bed. “I love bedtime with Mommy When we turn off the light. Her
kisses, snuggles, prayers, and hugs Are special every night!”
My Thoughts:
What a precious board book for little ones to enjoy as you read to them at bedtime. Animals from around the world are putting their wee ones to bed. Surrounded by their familiar homes and reminded of God’s love and the love of a mother. From the arctic, ocean, desert, high up in the trees, and the outback you are taken to eight animal homes. The last page is a little girl being tucked in with her mom singing a hymn, praying, kisses, snuggles, and hugs that make each night special with the love of a mother and our heavenly Father.
The illustrations are created by Felia Hanakata. The illustrations are stunning and colorful. Your little one will enjoy exploring each of the animal's homes through the pictures.
This is a perfect book for a new mom or a grandchild. Any little one will love this sweet faith-filled book at bedtime.
