Hanukkah Day Four
December 23, 2011
I thought I would start out by sharing a simple Hanukkah recipe with you.
I like to add different types of condiments like smoked salmon in cream cheese. Or I have had pear sauce, picante sauce. If you have any favorites I love to hear it and share the recipe with me.
Tonight will be the forth night of Hanukkah any you will light the forth candle. Remember to put the candles in from right to left (like reading Hebrew) and them after you light the Shamash you light the others from left to right. You recite these two blessing before lighting the candles.
English: Blessed are You, Lord our God, Ruler of the universe, who has sanctified us with Your commandments, and has commanded us to kindle the lights of Hanukkah.

We also read scriptures. Here are a few scripture ideas to read the 4th night of Hanukkah.

1 For Zion’s sake I won’t keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I won’t sit still until her righteousness
shines out like a light, and her salvation blazes like a torch.
Luke 1:79
79 to give light to those who are sitting in darkness and in the shadow of death,
to guide us on the path of peace.”
