Bible Stories Painting Book 2 Book Review
July 15, 2013
Bible Stories Painting Book 2 is a
fantastic painting book that is easy to use with no mess involved! The book
has sixteen scenes from the Old and New Testaments with a simple line of text
explaining the picture. Simply dip your brush in water, wipe over the paint
pallets on the inside covers and fill in the illustrations with bright, bold
colors!
My Thoughts:
I remember these painting books as a child. I was very
excited to introduce another one of these books to my children. It’s a no mess
painting book that you could basically take anywhere.
The best part is the spiritual aspect of the book. It’s very
easy way to introduce any child to the Bible and to ingrain the stories in the Bible in their hearts. The stories are bite size to
grab a child’s curiosity about God’s word. I like that it has both Old and New
Testament content in it.
The pictures are larger and easy to paint for younger kids.
My kids are older but still had a delightful time painting.
This would make a good gift for any child. Also a great
boredom buster when it’s too hot or cold to play outside. You could even do it
on a road trip since the mess is self-contained. The magic of a paint brush
compared to crayons is amazing. A paint brush in a child’s hand knows how to
make them feel like they are getting a special treat.

book from Kregel Publication for free in order to write this review. All
