Priceless Stones - 42 Days of Hebrew Promises for Kingdom Living (Paperback) by James Revoir Book Review
August 08, 2013
Priceless Stones is a 42-day Hebrew-based devotional. Each day
focuses on one verse or passage from the Old Testament and translates one or
more Hebrew words from the original text and then leads the reader to discover a
new revelation about the goodness of God and the wonder of living in His
Kingdom. Each daily meditation incorporates personal life experience from the
life of the author and reinforces the message with a declaration and prayer. The
book is fully footnoted; all of the referenced verses are indexed; and the
devotional includes the added bonus of Hebrew-to-English and English-to-Hebrew
glossaries.

My Thoughts:
This is
wonderful 42-day devotional book that uses a Hebrew word to base the devotion of
that day off of. The format of this
devotion goes like this:

I like how
James Revoir uses the Hebrew word and adds a scripture. I hope this gets others
interested in Biblical Hebrew and want to know more. Learning Hebrew is an
awesome way to learn more about our Bible and the original text in Hebrew. The devotion had three to four pages of
thought provoking life application skills.
I recommend this devotion to others who love to study the
Word of God; it's a great resource with a twist. This would make a great gift
to someone who maybe needs some encouragement in their walk. It could also be
used in a small Bible study.
I also like how it includes glossaries like-Hebrew to
English and English to Hebrew as well as a Scripture Reference. The author
makes sure to give credit to other authors with whom he has used their resource.
He backs up his references. It looks like he put a lot of thought and prayer into this
devotion.
Thank you for the opportunity to do a review on this book. I
have enjoyed reading this and look forward to revisiting it in my studies.
I received this book free from the
publisher through the BookCrash.com book review program, which requires an honest, though not
necessarily positive, review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
