The Kremlin Conspiracy by Joel Rosenberg Book Review I
April 18, 2018
Everything he learned to protect our president, he must use to take out
theirs.
With an American president distracted by growing tensions in North Korea and Iran, an ominous new threat is emerging in Moscow. A czar is rising in the Kremlin, a Russian president feverishly consolidating power, silencing his opposition, and plotting a brazen and lightning-fast military strike that could rupture the NATO alliance and bring Washington and Moscow to the brink of nuclear war. But in his blind spot is the former U.S. Secret Service agent, Marcus Ryker, trained to protect but ready to kill to save his country.

My Thoughts:
Joel Rosenberg
knows how to draw you into a story. The Kremlin Conspiracy is full of intrigue and
suspense in this political thriller. If you’ve never read any of Joel’s
Rosenberg’s novels you are missing out on a great story teller.
I love that the
story is very realistic and some of the characters shadow some of our modern
day political men and women with world events that are or could easily be tomorrow’s
headlines.
Rosenberg comes
at the story from a Biblical worldview without using foul language or indecent
situations. All of his books are that way. However you will have some
suspenseful gun battles that people die and get hurt.
The main
characters are Marcus Ryker and Oleg Kraskin. Both of the characters are complex
and very realistic individuals. Their lives are about to intertwine in a way
neither one of them ever expected.
Marcus Ryker is
a hero, former US Marine, and a former Secret Service to the President of the
United States. His life is changed when several unexpected events that change
his life that leads up to suspense of the story. Marcus is also a believer and
a man of faith.
Oleg
Kraskin a lawyer in who just happens to be marries the president of Russia. The
president, Luganov is thrilled to welcome Oleg into his family. Oleg finds his
career options a dream come true working with his president and father-in-law.
What goes on behind the closed doors of the Kremlin are terrifying to Oleg and
after years of seeing is presidents real motive he knows that he has to do
something to prevent a nuclear meltdown from happening.
The story
builds up developing the story and characters for the most part of the book.
The last part of the book is non-stop action that will leave you having a hard
time putting down the book. It leaves you with a huge cliff hanger and knowing
that you have to wait till the next book in the series to see what happens to
Marcus and Oleg.
