My son has been coding for awhile now and has learned so much. I wasn't sure where to start at first when he asked me to learn how to code. Now it seems like everywhere you look there are games and activities to learn how to code.
I found that hands on activities have been really helpful throughout the years. I'm amazed at all the coding games that are available now. Here is a list of 39 coding games that you may find helpful. There is a nice variety of apps, board games, computer programs, robots, subscription boxes, and more. There are several that are free. This list would have been so helpful for me when my son started to learn coding. Hopefully this will make it easier for you to find coding activities for your kids. With the holidays right around the corner these will make great gifts!
If your interested in live classes you can sign up for classes with CodeWizardsHQ. The classes have been extremely beneficial with the help of a teacher guiding him. The classes are kept small to maximize learning. My son has enjoyed building projects.
