I remember the first time I heard the “My Jesus” from Anne Wilson. My son and I were taking our dog up to the ball field to run. I decided to stay in the car, “My Jesus”, came on the radio. I was exhausted, bad day, and I just wasn’t in a good mood. The song just touched me and met me where I was at that afternoon.

I had access to watch a live stream concert for Anne Wilson for her debut album. Anne shared a bit of history of the songs and the album coming together. She preformed several of her songs from the album.  My teenagers also enjoyed watching the concert together.

I really like her voice and the unique heartfelt sound. The music has a country, pop vibe and just heartfelt. My Jesus is my favorite song. I also really enjoy,  No Place Like Home & Mamas (with Hillary Scott).

Anne Wilson sang for the first time at her brother’s funeral and the video circulated and it lead to a record deal. My Jesus came from the depths of her heart during a difficult lost and drawing closer to Jesus.

Anne Wilson is the first female solo artist debut single to reach #1 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart.

Anne Wilson’s debut single “My Jesus” was the longest #1 single on Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart of 2021 for 7 weeks.

“My Jesus” was nominated for a 2022 Billboard Music Award for “Top Christian Song” against Kayne West. The awards will broadcast live coast-to-coast on May 15 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on NBC. It will also stream live on Peacock.

“My Jesus” Hit #1 on Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 and #19 on the Rolling Stone Top 25 Trending charts.

Anne Wilson was featured as Billboard’s October 2021 Chart breaker Artist in their 21 Under 21 issue.
