Hanukkah Day Two
December 21, 2011
We Should Be a Light to Others. I want others to see Yeshua(Jesus) living in my life. I want to be a reflection of His light.
Luke 11:33
33 “People don’t light a lamp and then put it in a closet or under a basket. Rather, they place the lamp on a lampstand so that those who enter the house can see the light.
Tonight you will light two candles on the Hanukkah Menorah using the servant candle or Shamash candle when the sun goes down. The Hanukkah Menorah is usually lit by the window. Remember to put the candles in from right to left (like reading Hebrew) and them after you light the Shamash you light the others from left to right.
You recite these two blessing before lighting the candles.
