Gratitude A Prayer and Praise Coloring Journal Book Review
September 06, 2016
Gratitude: A Prayer and Praise
Coloring Journal invites you to bring creative
journaling and the calming act of coloring into your quiet time with God. This
beautifully designed interactive prayer book from Tyndale's Living Expressions
collection helps guide your thoughts as you pray about concerns such as health,
overcoming stress, personal relationships, and more. Gratitude gives you a way
to celebrate and give thanks to God for the many blessings he provides. Filled
with over 100 designs to color, plenty of space for journaling and sketching,
and 40 needs-based prayers, Gratitude helps you express your devotion to God
with your whole heart!
My Thoughts:
This is a new book in the Living Expression
Collection from Tyndale House.
This coloring prayer journal is 112 pages 8”x6”. It’s
a nice size to throw in your purse. I could see myself using this while in the
endless doctor and therapy visits with my daughter.
It’s a hardback book with a thick cardboard cover.
This is a nice feature when coloring or working on the journal when you don’t
have a table surface to use. The book lays out flat when it is opened. You have
to press it down slightly but, it stays put.
The pages are thick and can be used with several different
medians. So far I haven’t had any bleed through.
The book contains prayers and several scripture
verses throughout the pages. It’s arranged in a 2-page layout with every page
having a scripture in it. Each page can be colored. Some of the pages are
colored and others are black and white. The illustrations are beautiful and
fun. Some of the illustrations are busy and others are simple. A nice variety
of pictures and scriptures. There is a lot of space to doodle and to write in.
Whether you are a long time Bible journaler or just
beginning this is a lovely prayer journal book. This would make a great gift
for a tween, teen, or someone special in you life.
