29 October 2019

National Cat Day is October 29th.

Are you looking for some paw-tastic books to celebrate your favorite feline members. I have two books in celebration of our cats at the end of this post. So make sure you scroll all the way through.

Here's my favorite four legged felines who think ever day is National Cat Day.

Regardless of age she still has the same favorite places to hang out...destroy! Our Mercy fur family now.
Mercy at 8 weeks old. Wasn't she adorable!

This guy has been with us for 2 years now and is the most social cat and loves people and trouble. His name is Twitch and is named after a favorite character in a book!

Klawde: Evil Alien Warlord Cat: The Spacedog Cometh #3

In book three of this hysterical series, Klawde faces a challenger he never imagined: a dog, who has arrived on Earth to settle the intergalactic score. He's hyper, he's loyal, he's an all-around-good boy, and he's here to bring Klawde to justice. Can our ferocious feline evade the long paw of the law?

Raj, on the other hand, is faced with his own out-of-town visitor who, although from Earth, may prove to be even more formidable: his grandmother. When she plans a birthday party Raj doesn't want, will he survive the embarrassment?

Heavily illustrated, with a hilarious, biting voice that switches between Raj's and Klawde's perspectives, this is the story of an unlikely friendship that emerges between a boy and the evil cat who arrived on his doorstep.

Stretchy McHandsome

A handsome and totally fetching street cat with a penchant for trouble stars in the new picture book by Judy Schachner, creator of the inimitable, irrepressible Skippyjon Jones

Stretchy McHandsome is not only good looking with his ginger fur, but he has personality that shines as well. Leaving the safety of the McHandsome clan, he stretches himself away from home and all around town. Out and about, he is spotted by a girl with a kindred spirit, who makes him realize the one thing missing from his life is the warm lap of a loving person. How this gadabout finds his true girl makes for a story that is a little bit wild, but a whole lot wonderful.
