2020 BLUE RIBBON WINNERS
Another great year with the Homeschool Review Crew year. It's always fun looking back on the year and thinking about your favorites during the last year.
We had some favorites in our home this last year. You can click on the link to read my review. When you go over to the main site you can see who the overwhelming winners were from the Crew.
Favorite Complete Curriculum: Homeschool Easy this was used with my daughter and she is continuing using this as her main grammar curriculum. She really liked the straight forward approach with it.
Favorite Learn to Read Curriculum: Blake eLearning, Inc, {Reading Eggs}-This was also voted the Crew favorite. My special needs daughter loves Reading Eggs and she uses this 3 times a week to supplement her reading.
Favorite Learn to Read Supplement: Blake eLearning, Inc, {Reading Eggs}-what else can I say we really like it!
Favorite Language Arts Resource: Progeny Press- My son enjoyed these and I ended up ordering two more guides.
Favorite History/Social Studies Resource: Drive Thru History Adventures-My whole family loves Drive Thru History Adventures.
Favorite History/Social Studies Book: YWAM-another favorite in our homeschool that has been read and enjoyed for many years in our homeschool.
Favorite Computer Science/Coding Curriculum: Pitsco Education-My son enjoyed learning about electricity and trying something new with coding.
Favorite Science Resource: Journey Homeschool Academy-This ended up being a surprised edition to our homeschool and we ended up changing the curriculum for my son this year.
Favorite Math Curriculum: CTC Math-an all time favorite in our homeschool that we use every year in our homeschool. This year it was a life saver for my daughter.
Favorite Math Supplements: CTC Math
Favorite Fine Arts Resource: Beyond the Stick Figure-I let my children decide on this one and they choose a new art program that we did this year.
Favorite Bible Curriculum: I did not vote in this category as I didn't review several of the choices.
Favorite Bible Resource: Pilgrim's Rock-an interesting for my son and we both learned a lot.
Favorite Elective: PEM LIFE- I let my son decide on this category and he surprised me with this financial literacy course.
Best Resource I Didn't Know I Needed: Journey Homeschool Academy
Favorite Fun Resource: Fermentools-this was a great resource for me and something I always wanted to try.
Helpful Tools and Resources: My Teaching Library-this had several resources that I found helpful in my homeschool.
